KW Architectural Design Ethos

KW Architectural strive to provide bespoke, forward thinking ideas for a variety of projects, including: new build high-end houses, mixed-use sites, children’s nurseries, swimming pools, sites with multiple dwellings, renovations, additions and adaptations to existing homes. We are a quality-not-quantity lead practice, and will only accept new projects if we have the time commitments to deliver them to a high standard.

Outstanding design is at the heart of what KW Architectural do. It is ensuring that not only do our plans accurately show our clients desired style, but that they can be built as expected within an expected budget. We work from first sketches right through to completion, ensuring quality is implemented at every opportunity. The devil is really in the detail.

We do not have a typical design type, which allows us to see each project for its own individual merits. We have experience with traditional or contemporary architectural styles, and have the knowledge of a wide array of external finishes at our disposal.

We sweat the small stuff

We understand that your project is a significant financial investment for you or your business. We treat every project as if it were our own finances on the line. We can help advise you with project costs, and guide you in the right direction of potential contractors who can assist with your project.

Human nature is guided by daylight hours, and it is imperative to any design that light opportunities be maximised in habitable spaces. This can be through introducing carefully placed rooflights, or by ensuring that windows are unimpeded by landscaping or other properties. South facing windows will allow a wonderful amount of light into your property, but it could be at the expense of unwanted solar heat gain. Its is therefore important to consider this as part of the design process. KW Architectural will propose the use of solar reflective glass where it would be beneficial.

Something often overlooked during the design of new properties is sufficient storage space. This can cause clutter to build up throughout a house. We ensure that storage spaces are provided in all of our properties, from shoes and coats down to towels and bed linen.
