Park Close

Didcot

Located within commutable distance to Didcot train station, Ashdown Homes identified an opportunity for the development of a single infill dwelling. The sites tapering boundary meant that the width of the property was restricted, and the compact nature of the surrounding dwellings meant that a carefully considered design would be required.

New Urban Dwelling, Oxfordshire

The design of the detached dwelling is simplistic, and serves to blend in with the surrounding area without drawing any undue attention to it. The elevations are a simple blend of brickwork and render, with subtle design features such as brickwork quoins. The roofscape on the side elevation, in particular, has been meticulously planned to ensure it does not appear overbearing on the neighbouring properties.
